My coauthor, Brad Osborn, teaches at the University of Kansas, and taught a graduate seminar in Analyzing Popular Music during the fall semester. As part of this class, he had all the students interview a popular music scholar, and one of the students, Madeline Echternacht-Hahn, interviewed me.
